What is Defense Distributed?

Defense Distributed is a pending 501(c)(3) status nonprofit corporation in the state of Texas, organized and operated exclusively for charitable and literary purposes.

The specific purposes for which this corporation is organized are: To defend the civil liberty of popular access to arms as guaranteed by the United States Constitution and affirmed by the United States Supreme Court, through facilitating global access to, and the collaborative production of, information and knowledge related to the 3D printing of arms; and to publish and distribute, at no cost to the public, such information and knowledge in promotion of the public interest.

Who is Defense Distributed?

Cody R. Wilson

Cody studies at the University of Texas School of Law in Austin. He is a student of Bastiat, Hoppe, and Anthony de Jasay, and in all things works toward realizing a private law society.

Benjamin W. Denio

Benjamin studied Philosophy at the University of Central Arkansas. In consumer electronics, he participated in the OLPC XO 1.0 and Google Cr-48 alpha deployments. He is a novice user of Ubuntu Linux. He has inherited an interest in the shooting sports from his father.

Sean Kubin

A graduate of Arkansas State University’s Computer science program, Sean is an IT consultant for Revered Technologies Group. Sean believes that the world is changed for the better only when individuals are empowered and taught to be responsible for their own lives.

Haroon Khalid

Haroon is an Android developer with numerous projects on the web. He has submitted apps to Google Playstore which have received top marks from user reviews. Some of his hobbies include programming, Bitcoin technology and 3D printing.
